Xiashushan Reservoir project is one of 172 major water saving and water supply projects deployed by The State Council during the 13th Five-Year Plan period. The reservoir has a total storage capacity of 196 million m³, which is the largest (2) reservoir, such as Ⅱ, with a controlled drainage area of 422km².
