Minjiang Hangdian Longxikou Junction project, also known as Minjiang Longxikou cascade Power Station, is located at the junction of Xinmin Town, Qianwei County, Leshan City, Sichuan Province and Yibin County, Yibin City, Sichuan Province. It is one of the four cascade terminals in Leshan Section of Minjiang Avionics Comprehensive Development Project. According to the ideas of "navigation as the main, avionics combined" and "upstream cascade channelization, downstream dredging and renovation", through channelization and renovation, the channel grade of Leshan to Yibin section of Minjiang River has been raised from Grade Ⅳ to Grade Ⅲ and strives to reach Grade Ⅱ. 1,000-ton ships can be navigable all year round. Ships of 3,000 tons can pass in flood time. It will officially open to traffic in November 2022.
